Clients That We Have Helped
Clients through the mediation process have felt in control, not lost in a legal process. They’ve been able to conclude things more amicably and move forward more quickly to get on with their lives.
For separating or divorcing couples where decisions need to be made concerning children, property and finances it is often a requirement that Family Mediations is sought before the Courts are able to become involved. Domestic violence is one example of an exception to this requirement. In cases where an exception does not apply, mediation must first be attempted. If having mediated, the separating or divorcing couple still wish to go to Court, they will require a certificate which can only be provided by an Accredited Mediator. It is therefore important to use a mediator that is fully accredited as only they can issue the certificate required by the Courts.
